  The 8 L covers gels, a layer and a phone, not a drop of water: no bladder is listed as supplied and no capacity is quoted for the sleeve. Fit one you own, or rely on the front flask pockets. Their dimensions are not published, so test a flask early.

  The fit, and a word on leaks

  Chest and waist straps slide on rails, so both settle to your build instead of a fixed setting, and the S-shaped straps follow the shoulder line. Leaks start at the bite valve, the cap or the tube joint. Close the cap straight, never bury a full bladder under hard kit, and dry it open.
