  Said plainly, because people find out too late: this pack ships without a bladder. Everything needed to run one is built in, from the sleeve to the hose port on the shoulder and the retainer that stops the tube swinging. You choose the reservoir.

  Where reservoirs give up

  Almost never at the seams. The cap and the tube connector take the abuse, so seat the cap straight and push the connector fully home. Avoid burying a full bladder under a packed compartment, then dry it hanging open after a rinse.
