Mens Shoulder Bags

Shoulder bags carry on one strap, over one shoulder or across the body. That makes the strap the part that decides everything: a narrow one cuts in under load, and one that will not lengthen enough cannot be worn crossbody at all. Each listing here says whether the strap is padded and whether it adjusts, in the maker's own terms.

These are new bags, not graded surplus, and we describe them from the maker's specification rather than from handling them.

How to choose one

Start with what you actually carry. A bag sized around a 13 or 14 inch laptop will take A4 paperwork alongside it; a 2 to 3 litre bag holds a phone, a wallet, keys and not much else. Capacity in litres tells you less than the list of what fits, so that is what we give wherever the specification allows.

Then decide how you want it on you. A single strap worn short sits at the hip and swings when you move; worn long across the body it stays put and leaves both hands free. Bags with a grab handle or belt loops give you a third and fourth option, and we say which of those are present.

About water

A bag worn on the outside of your body takes rain directly. None of these bags publishes an immersion rating, and their seams are sewn rather than welded, so we describe them as water-resistant. For a phone, a radio or paperwork that has to stay dry, put a sealed pouch or a small dry bag inside.

What we give on each listing

• The strap: padded or not, adjustable or not. We do not publish a length in centimetres because our specifications do not give one.
• What it holds: described by contents, not by litres alone.
• The fabric: material and denier wherever the maker states them.
• The carry options: shoulder, crossbody, grab handle, belt loops, whichever are actually there.
• The fittings: D-rings, buckles and webbing panels as listed.

Delivery and returns

UK delivery is free. Orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days and arrive within 10 to 20 business days. Returns or exchange within 30 days of delivery, unused and in original condition, approved before being sent back, with the refund issued within 7 days of acceptance. Return postage is paid by the customer.
