  Sole construction and the seasons it suits

  The sole is rubber throughout rather than a foam core under a thin outer layer, which is where grip and wear resistance come from. Two seasons is the honest window: spring and autumn, moderate weather. Nothing in the build is insulated for deep winter, and nothing about it is sealed against rain.
