  Parachute canvas hammock: room for a 6ft frame

  The number one complaint about hammocks in this country is shoulder squeeze on a short, narrow body: your shoulders ache and a ridge runs down the middle. The 290 cm length is the answer to that. Lie across it on the diagonal and the fabric opens out instead of wrapping your shoulders. Two of you can share it for a nap, and the 300 kg load rating means you are nowhere near the limit either way.

  The 210T nylon takes the constant shifting and swinging of a night out without going baggy.
