• • Thick technical polyester: Main fabric with a fleece lining built in. Warm enough for winter trekking down to -5°C.
  • Double elastic waist: Elastic waistband with an extra drawcord. Holds its adjustment even over several layers.
  • Gathered ankles: Elastic sewn into the hem. Stops cold air travelling up the leg and keeps insects out.
  • Oversized cargo pockets: Two gusseted side pockets of 30x25cm. Real room for maps, gloves and a day of food.
  • Basic water-repellent finish: Light hydrophobic treatment on the polyester. Good for light rain for 30 minutes at most, and we would rather tell you that up front.

  Cargo trekking trousers: cover against rain and wind on the move

  Showers and hard wind arrive without warning on a long day out, and the wrong legwear drops your body temperature until you are chilled through. Our cargo trekking trousers use a high-density but porous fabric (100% polyester) that breathes well and carries a level 4 waterproof rating (10000 to 15000mm), which holds off torrential rain. The elasticated hems with their drawcords and the elastic waistband stop the pressure points that ruin a long walk.
