  5 cm and a built-in pillow

  The Thick Self Inflating Mattress gives you 5 cm of cushioning, enough to smooth out stones and pressure points without hauling a mattress the size of a bed. It adds an integrated 5 cm pillow, so you skip stuffing a dry bag under your head. At 188 by 66 cm it is a proper single, long and wide enough that you can move about in the night without hanging over the edge. Open the valve and it draws in most of its air on its own; finish with a few breaths for your preferred firmness.

  Built to lie flat and last

  Inside, 21 anchor points hold the surface together so it stays flat rather than bulging into a hump, even on uneven ground. The exterior is a 210T Oxford fabric with a soft brushed skin-side, so it takes wear while staying pleasant against your bag or skin. It weighs 1.3 kg and rolls small enough to slot into a 40L rucksack without a fight. Choose from Blue, Black or Red, and store it unrolled with the valve open to keep the foam lofting between trips.
