  Survival gear: aluminium tactical defence pen

  This survival gear is an aluminium tactical defence pen with a non-slip grip, sized to carry every day. It is a steel-tipped glass breaker as well as a pen. The tactical pen is 100% brand new and machined from aviation aluminium, which is what lets a 14.5 cm pen take a hard strike without bending. It writes like a normal pen and stays in a jacket pocket or a notebook loop until it is needed. The grip is knurled to a set pattern, so it stays in the hand when it is wet. If a car door jams after an accident, the tip breaks the side window and gets you out.

  Survival accessory: shaped for the hand

  The steel pen body follows the shape of the hand and clips onto a rucksack, a bag or a notebook. The tip is rounded and the barrel is balanced, so it writes cleanly in a log book and takes knocking about in a pocket. At 14.5 x 3 cm it goes where a normal pen goes, which is the point of carrying one.
