  Room for two on any ground

  The Self Inflating Camping Mattress Double gives two people a 5 cm cushioned surface across a honeycomb foam core. Instead of a flat slab, the egg-crate structure spreads your weight so hips and shoulders sit above the ground rather than pressing straight through it. With a 300 kg load rating, it holds two adults and their kit without bottoming out on hard floorboards or an uneven pitch. At 3.2 kg it stays reasonable for car camping, a van, or a family tent.

  Honest about the self-inflating valve

  Open the valve and the foam expands, pulling in most of its air on its own over a few minutes. If you prefer a firmer feel, add a few breaths by mouth. That is normal for a self-inflating mat, not a fault. The Chunya fabric and PVC coating are water-resistant and cope with damp ground, though this is a mattress and not a groundsheet. When you break camp, it compresses and rolls back into its bag.
