  At 190 x 60 cm there is full lying length and no wasted width in a small tent. The honeycomb cells hold air in sections rather than one open chamber, so your weight stays where you put it instead of shunting to one end. The TPU shell absorbs nothing, so morning condensation wipes off.

  How this one inflates

  The pump is built into the mat and worked with your foot, so nothing else needs packing and your lungs stay out of it. That is the honest trade-off of any air mat: it is far more comfortable than foam and far easier to puncture. Clear stones from the pitch, and on rough ground lay a thin foam mat underneath.
