  Two ways to carry, one honest limit

  Backpack straps beat a single shoulder strap the moment the walk runs past a few hundred metres, and the harness spreads weight evenly. It is still not a rucksack. There is no hip belt, so your shoulders take everything, which suits a car park, a platform or a walk in from a gate rather than a day on a trail.

  36 to 55 litres in real kit

  The smaller size takes a weekend: two days of clothing, a towel, wash kit and trainers. The larger one swallows a sleeping bag and a mat as well. Coated nylon sheds a shower, but the zips and seams are not sealed, so keep the sleeping bag itself inside a dry sack.
