Aerial triangle hammock: a group shelter off the wet ground

Sat in it, the three-way suspension holds the fabric flat rather than wrapping around you the way a single-line hammock does. The 4 x 4 x 4 m version takes 300 kg on 210T nylon, which is a group of walkers sat out an evening rather than a two-person sleeping setup. Straps and D-rings rig it between three trees, and the triangular layout spreads the load across all three anchors instead of hanging everything off one line. It compresses into the storage bag supplied, so it travels in one person's pack.
