  Two people, 13 cm up

  Thirteen centimetres of inflated depth is what keeps a side sleeper's hip off the ground rather than merely cushioned against it. At 200 x 72 cm two adults fit without either of you sliding onto grass, and the Pongee polyester face with its TPU coating is water-resistant, so dew and damp tent floors stay on the outside.

  How this one inflates

  The pump sits inside the mattress and is worked by foot, roughly a minute of pressing, with no separate pump in your kit. Thickness like this comes from air, and air can be let out by a thorn or a sharp stone, so sweep the ground before you unroll and use a groundsheet on gravel.
