  Sized for one sleeper

  At 190 cm long and 56 cm wide, the mat holds a single adult without your shoulders hanging over the edge. Six centimetres of air sit under you, and the load rating stops at 100 kg, so check that figure against your own weight. The moulded pillow saves stuffing a jacket under your head.

  How it inflates

  A pump is built into the mattress and pressed with your feet, so nothing depends on your lungs and no external pump is required. One valve fills it, the other empties it for packing. Six centimetres of air is still air, so sweep the ground for sharp stones first, or put a thin foam mat underneath on rough pitches.
