The maker does not print a temperature figure for this model, so treat the lighter weights as milder-night bags and the heavier ones for the cold end, and add a liner if you expect a hard frost. The fill is a high-density hollow-fibre cotton that traps warm air without the bulk, and being synthetic it keeps insulating when it picks up damp, which suits the British climate better than down.

Three layers against damp and draughts

The build runs in three layers: a 190T polyester shell with a water-repellent coating on the outside, a treated hollow-cotton core in the middle for windproof, breathable warmth, and a soft pongee inner that sits pleasant against the skin. The envelope hood pulls in with a drawstring, and the bidirectional zip has a velcro fastener that stops it creeping open in the night. Reinforced seams hold the fill in place, it packs into the supplied compression sack, and you can choose Blue or Navy.
