  Small volume, complete harness

  Twenty litres is a walk, not an expedition: a shell, lunch and two litres of water. What makes it pleasant at that size is the harness. The specification gives an adjustable chest strap and a hip belt, which many day sacks this light leave out. Read the belt as a stabiliser, not a load carrier: it holds the pack against your back on a steep descent, it does not lift weight off your shoulders.
